“I buy the fabric but most of it is donated. The clothes are unique and stylish and little girls can relate too. People who buy them serve two purposes, a gift for the little girls while supporting charity,” said Browne showing off her cute designs.

Christine Hemming from Once Upon a Time said they had just started hosting the market again and hoping to bring a fun element each Saturday they are hosted. The market will be open every second Saturday.

“We have live music, delicious food, vendors with handmade products. People can book a stall and the money raised goes towards our 18 beneficiaries. Stalls can be booked for both markets at a discounted rate”

Hemming revealed that they have many exciting plans, “We want to revive the market in Pinetown, there use to be many markets but now there are none,”

Landi Viljoen from Baby Hope House, who also has a stall where she sells her famous pancakes, has made an appeal for support for all NPO’s.

“I appeal to people to support the market, times are tough and the charity shop supports 18 beneficiaries. Hemming does this out of the goodness of her heart and does not get a salary. The Lions Club of Cowies Hill have supported Baby Hope House for many years and we are grateful for their continuous support,” said Viljoen.
