Criminals attempt to hit two homes in Malvern
The criminals pried open a security gate in an attempt to gain access to the main house.
A GROUP of criminals targeted a cottage and the main house in Malvern, however, fled when they triggered the alarm.
According to the operations director and spokesman, Brian Jackson, the robbers cut through a wire fence to gain access to the property.

They broke into the cottage and stole a a flat-screen TV and laptop before they attempted to break into the main house.
“They pried open the bottom of a security gate before forcing back the bottom half of a stable door. The house sitter said this set the alarm off, and the thieves fled,” said Jackson.
According to the security company’s statistics, more housebreakings occurred in the day time in April than at night.
“The number was almost double,” said Jackson.
