Project plants seeds of hope

This initiative forms part of the development of the new Ubuntu Farm project.

UBUNTU Wellness Project joined hands with the Lions Club, the Rotary Club of Hillcrest, Hillview Primary School and the Department of Agriculture to help grow food for the community.

Organiser, Hailey Fudu said that following the looting and shop closures, it was important that people planted fruit and vegetables to ensure there was food available for those in need. This initiative forms part of the development of the new Ubuntu Farm project.

To donate seedlings or a fruit tree for the outreach project, send a WhatsApp message to 067 815 2019.

The seedlings can also be dropped off at the Ubuntu Wellness Shop at Pineville Junction, 81 Stapleton Road in Pinetown.
