THE employers of Keith Ritchie, who was involved in a hit-and-run accident that led to his death, have sought the assistance of Brad Nathanson, a local private investigator, to find the individuals involved in the accident.
Ritchie was riding his motor cycle on the M13 Pinetown bound, near the Everton off-ramp at about 21:00 on Wednesday, November 3 when he was hit by a white motor vehicle. The driver of the vehicle did not stop.

Keith’s injuries were horrific and included the loss of his right arm. He underwent 15 hours of surgery but, days later, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
Suveer Singh, the chief operating officer of the company based in Westmead where Ritchie was employed, said Ritchie joined the team in October last year and made a significant impact, as he always strived for excellence and achieved this in a very short space of time.
“His death feels surreal. Our team, his family and friends are completely gutted by his death. Keith’s journey in life has been cut short and right now we are doing everything in our power to get justice for him. we are therefore imploring the public to assist if there is any information that may assist us with the investigation,” he said.
“To the person involved in this accident with this motorcyclist, please know that this office is receiving information and piecing it together. It won’t be long until you are identified,” Nathanson wrote on his Facebook page.
Nathanson noted that it may have been an accident and urged the parties involved to contact him in confidence.
“We know that it is daunting to have to face the consequences of your actions, and we also understand that there are mitigating circumstances insofar as it was late at night on a poorly lit road,” he wrote.
If you have any information about the accident, contact Brad Nathanson on 083 250 2007. The details of witnesses will be kept private and the information shared will remain confidential.
