Help less fortunate families keep warm this winter
SEE Upper Highway has partnered up with Winterhoop and NG Kerk Pinetown to create a warmer community, one blanket at a time.

AS winter draws closer, a local community platform, SEE Upper Highway, is collecting blankets for those in need, in collaboration with Winterhoop and NG Kerk Pinetown. The collection began on June 6 and will end on Thursday, June 30.
Winterhoop is a national campaign that was launched, and SEE Upper Highway saw the opportunity to help as the Durban and Upper Highway coordinator.
According to the owner of SEE Upper Highway, Margaret Stoop McAvoy, SEE Upper Highway was heavily involved in assisting the community during the floods.
“We realized that the need to help our community is huge and that our followers are incredible when the need arises to help those less fortunate.”

“Our incredible community once again stepped up and helped with setting up collection points. We aim to collect 500 blankets – we currently have 100 blankets. We believe that every act of kindness, no matter how small or large, makes a positive impact on society. By donating a gently loved blanket or new blanket, it warms someone from the inside and outside,” said McAvoy.
