Last day of Indigenous Open Gardens in Assagay, Forest Hills and Kloof
Don’t miss the 22nd edition of Kloof Conservancy‘s annual open gardens.
THE Indigenous Open Gardens is happening this weekend in Assagay, Forest Hills, and Kloof.
There are four gardens on show.
Gardens open at 09:00 and close at 16:00 on Sunday, 3 July, which is the final day.
Entry is R30 per garden with payment by Zapper or cash. Entry is free for children under 12.

Garden 1 – Karen and John Galt at 16–18 Quillhall Lane, Kloof.
Garden 2 – Pamela and Chris Dalzell at 47 Alamein Avenue, Kloof.
Garden 3 – Brigid and Pete Turner at 43 Kloof View Road, Forest Hills.
Garden 4 – Tanya Visser and Izolda van der Merwe at 6–8 Controversy Road, Assagay.

Some simple guidelines to help you enjoy the gardens
Wear sensible shoes as there are areas with cobblestone paving, gravel, wooden decks and slopes.
Take binoculars if you are interested in birds.
Plan your comfort breaks as there are limited toilet facilities at Gardens 2, 3, and 4 and no toilet facilities at Garden 1.
Wear sunscreen and a hat.
The gardens are open, but the homes are not – please respect the owners’ privacy.
Please do not bring any animals to the gardens.
