RBM is proud to support the Umfolozi Drivers Testing Centre Access Road Project, bringing essential government services closer to the community. The centre offers vital services like renewing and issuing driver’s licences, temporary licences, and learner’s licences.
Situated at the KwaMbonambi Industrial Zone, next to Slovo Township, the centre will provide convenience and reduce travel costs for residents. It will also reduce pressure on the Richards Bay and Empangeni Centres.
The project not only benefits the community by offering easier access to services, but it also created 86 jobs during the construction phase, employing local community members and contributing to the local economy.
The centre will also increase UMfolozi Local Municipality revenue, which is essential for providing necessary services and infrastructure to the community. This has a significant impact on the ability to improve the quality of life for the community.
The centre promotes the growth and development of local businesses, keeping money within the local municipality and stimulating economic growth. As the driving school thrives, the businesses will pay taxes, which is a crucial source of revenue for the municipality.
For over 45 years, RBM has been operating in KwaZulu-Natal, and its social investments are a demonstration of shared value, contributing to the long-term sustainability of the communities it serves.
