Miss Grand SA empowers women with the knowledge and resources to bring about positive change in their communities. The platform, created by women for women, aims to cultivate charity and cultural ambassadors within South Africa and on the international stage. Titleholders are encouraged to engage in charitable causes close to their hearts.

Mehl chose to partner with the Red Cross War Memorial Hospital with the goal of increasing donations to provide more children with accessible healthcare.

“Red Cross War Memorial Hospital offers children affordable and free healthcare but relies solely on public donations. Should I win Miss Grand South Africa, a significant portion of the funds raised will go to charity, and I have chosen the Red Cross as my beneficiary during my reign,” she said.

“I aim to secure medical care for an additional 45 children. I believe that children are the future and that their circumstances should not limit their opportunities. Everyone deserves the chance to pursue their grandest dreams.”

The grand finale will be held at The Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace, in Johannesburg on June 28.
