The clean-up aligns with one of WCFRA’s key objectives: “To protect, maintain, and improve the amenities of Waterfall, Crestholme, and Forest Hills, as well as their surrounding environment, for the benefit of all residents and visitors.”
WCFRA chairperson Bruce Henderson extended his gratitude to all who participated, noting the significant impact of their efforts. “The clean-up was a huge success. People could not walk on the side of the road. We managed to cut everything back to the fence,” he said.

The clean-up was a collaborative effort between community members and local businesses, whose contributions helped make the project a success. WCFRA expressed appreciation to Watercrest Spar and MD Tool Hire for their generous donations, Cindy Dickinson for creating their flags, and local tree feller Austin Nziyo for assisting with tree-cutting.
This initiative is one of many undertaken by WCFRA to enhance the safety, accessibility, and overall environment of the area, reinforcing the power of community-led action.
