Donations needed for six abandoned babies at Addington Hospital

Although they are cosy and well-fed, six abandoned newborns at Addington Hospital's postnatal Care Unit are in serious need of nappies and care products.

SIX newborn babies at Addington Hospital are in serious need of donations. The babies have been in the hospital’s post-natal ward after their mothers had abandoned them. One mother is acutely ill and has been in high care.

The babies look healthy and peaceful, oblivious of the reality of their situation.
The ward staff have been doing what they can to give the babies the care and attention they deserve, but their resources cannot meet all the needs of the children. Efforts to locate immediate families have yielded no results thus far.

There is a heartfelt appeal for donations of nappies, receiver blankets, light clothing, non-fragrant emollients, bum creams, soap bars, wet wipes, etc.
Donations can be dropped off at Ward 7A – Postnatal ward for mothers and babies.
