HUTCHISON Park will soon transform to encapsulate the spirit of the Highland Gathering on May 3 from 08:00.

Whether it will be your first experience or if you are a returning fan, the event is packed to the brim with entertainment for all ages. On the cricket field, a sizable children’s play area with a jumping castle awaits, as well as the classical car display, entertainment by Sapphire Coast Tourism and a display by Umbogintwini Scouts.

On the rugby field, visitors can find the beer garden with live music from local talent, and the pipe bands competition area.

The main arena entertainment boasts several dance studios whose slick choreography will wow you, Croc World will be putting on a non-venomous reptile show and a tai chi display is sure to knock your socks off. If that is not enough, Mr and Mrs Highland Gathering will add a new dimension to the show.

You are sure to work up an appetite throughout the day, and the Highland Gathering has you covered with plenty of culinary delights to choose from.

Tickets for adults are R60, pensioners and learners pay R40 and entrance is free for six years and younger. Parking tickets are R30.
