Vehicle crashes into store, leaves 5 people injured

It was chaos as 5 people were injured in an accident near the Pavilion in Westville this morning.

FIVE People were injured after a vehicle crashed through a convenience store at a petrol station near the Pavilion mall in Westville. ALS Paramedics reported that they attended the scene this morning at 07:00.

“The driver of the vehicle, plus four employees, sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious and were stabilised on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required,” they said. 

At this stage, the events leading up to the collision are unknown, however, SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
