Speaking on her teaching career, Comins said teaching preschoolers has been her lifelong passion, spanning over three decades. “I have a special fondness for the little ones’ boundless energy and enthusiasm for life. Each day in the preschool setting brings new adventures and challenges, keeping me on my toes and always engaged,” she said.

Apart from teaching, Comins said she finds joy in spending time with her loved ones, nurturing her faith, tending to her home and embarking on spontaneous road trips.
“I have a deep love for Durban and South Africa, always eager to discover new sights and experiences,” she said.

“We have two wonderful grown children, Michael, 24, and Kyra, nearly 21. Craig and I have dedicated the past 14 months to building our new home, a project we poured our hearts into. I look forward to settling into our new space with my family in the coming weeks, at the same time as having started my new role at Curro – a double dose of excitement.

“I am grateful to be part of the Curro family, surrounded by the contagious laughter and joy that fills our school each day,” she said.
