Shop for bargains at summer fair
Shop for bargain Christmas gifts for your family and loved ones at Queensburgh Cheshire Home. There will also be many other items on sale as well as yummy treats.
THE Queensburgh Cheshire Home is hosting a summer fair on December 7 from 08:30 till 13:00. This is the home’s last fundraiser for the year, and manager Brian Rossenrode appeals to the public to come out in their numbers to support them.
The home opened its doors in 1965, and it cares for and supports people with physical disabilities. Over the years, it has grown tremendously, and they now have several charity shops on their premises that the public can support.
On the day of the fair, people can browse through the home’s many stalls and buy items at bargain prizes.

“There will be something for everyone: ideal Christmas gifts, collectibles, a large selection of books, puzzles and toys, sewing, plants, and second-hand and new clothing as well as white elephant items,” said Rossenrode.
He added that they always appreciate items that they can sell at the stalls to generate income.
“The money we raise goes towards the running of the home.”
The manager reminded the public to support them every Tuesday and Friday from 08:30 to 12:00 when their stalls are open.
“After shopping, people can relax at our tea garden,” he said.
The home is situated at 890 Main Road. Contact Brian on 031 708 4747 during office hours for more information.
