EDITOR – Those who say honesty is a dying virtue are wrong. We recently went out for dinner at Luppa Osteria in Hillcrest and we were very impressed with our waiter, Edgar, who was not only pleasant but went out of his way to serve us.
We were even more impressed when we left and got into our car to see Edgar running down the parking lot towards us. He came to me and gave me my cell phone, which I must have left on the table. I thanked him, to which he replied, “It’s the right thing to do.” It’s refreshing to see that there are still honest people out there. Thank you, Edgar you have put back the faith we have in society that sometimes gets lost.
