EDITOR – I reported two incidents about three weeks ago to the Municipality regarding underground burst water pipes.
The one underground pipe was close to my house on the opposite side outside my neighbour’s driveway, which they repaired. The other burst pipe is close to the beginning of the road, somewhere towards the middle of the steep hill.
To date, the water is still leaking and if you drive down St Augustine Road, you cannot miss the water seeping out of the road. Considering the current drought we are experiencing I cannot believe that no one is interested in having it repaired although it is so visible.
