Happy to help

Letter to the Editor - week ending 26 February 2016.

EDITOR – We live in Cowies Hill, and while driving home this Saturday (20 February) we saw a police car in the distance on Dudley Road and our first reaction was that something bad had happened.

We decided to drive past and see if everything was okay and were so pleasantly surprised to see this guy and two police officers cutting down this massive tree that had fallen in the road. We were so impressed that we turned around and went back to offer help but, with happy smiles they said it was under control.

We are part of an amazing Cowies Hill Community Watch and it was actually one of the volunteer patrollers, Craig Dingley, who stopped to help. A big thanks to him and the two officers, GM Ndlovu and MW Ndlovu, for helping out.
