WE need to get everyone to see and know exactly what goes on in the world with the torture of helpless animals because of a belief.
I’m not sure how to make this any shorter than I have, there is so much more I could say.
There is never any reason to torture an animal or living creature.
I write this letter to you with an absolutely broken heart. I cry about this daily.
I see things on Facebook, in the media, word-of-mouth, pictures, posters etc about this Yulin festival and not only the festival, but just the daily torture of animals in certain countries.
These poor souls have skin cells just like us, brains just like us, nerves just like us, they feel pain just like we do, their veins pump blood just like yours and mine, when they are hurt, they bleed just like you and I do.
They scream in pain when their eyes are gouged out or their paws cut off.
Why would people allow this to happen. How can people allow this to happen? How can any “human being” allow this kind of cruelty to happen?
Some dogs are boiled alive, paws cut off so that they cannot run away, eyes gouged out, skinned alive, burnt alive, cages are thrown around with lots of dogs in them and some of them break their legs in the process (and I’m sure not only their legs either) and this is all done while the animal is still alive.
It is a belief that the more the dog suffers, the better the meat tastes and it’s also to do with sexual pleasure. Seriously?
Imagine if it was another human being, your family, your children, your friends, your spouse?
It would be illegal to do these things to another human being, why is it not illegal to do this to an animal?
Torturing a living creature, animal or human is sick and inhumane.
Please can you help stop this cruelty.
I am begging you on behalf of the animals who don’t have a voice. Please can you help stop this cruelty.
We need to get people all over the country and world to help ban this festival and any place or culture that where the torture takes place.
Write to the embassies, write to famous actors asking for help, attend demonstrations, watch Facebook, Google.
Just help stop the cruelty and torture of innocent living beings.
