PICS: uShaka Kids World crowns its royalty
The winners will get to represent uShaka Kids World for one year.
USHAKA Kids World held its third annual Mr and Miss uShaka Kids World finals on Saturday, 3 June which saw the selection of two ambassadors.
The evening saw entertainment provided by Kevin Ellis and uShaka Marine World before the show got underway. The finalists in each category then took to the ramp to strut their stuff for the judges, Nazley Mullah (uShaka Brand Manager), Andre B van Wyk, Vanessa Marawa (model, radio and television personality) and Nompakamo Dzanibe (journalist), who had the difficult task of selecting the winners.
The top three in each category were as follows:
In the girls category the winner of the Miss uShaka Kids World 2017 title went to Guiliana Wright from Richard’s Bay, the first runner up was Nkazimulo Phetha and the second runner up was Tylene Dilali. In the boys category the winner of the Mr uShaka Kids World 2017 title went to Aphelele Kabamba from Pietermaritzburg, the first runner up was Micah Booi and the second runner up was Azaria Goodman.
Congratulations to all the winners and contestants for showing excellent sportsmanship, parents and family members for their support, the judges for their valuable time, all uShaka Marine World and uShaka Kids World staff involved, the entertainers as well as the MC, Kevin Ellis.
