Witnesses sought after Rodger Sishi Road accident

"They managed to get their car out before anyone woke up, as myself and neighbours were astonished to see the damage after the fact!" - Bryan Pietersen.

SOME time in the early hours on Saturday, 23 March, a car came off Rodger Sishi Road (previously Blair Atholl) down an embankment, across our road and into my fence.

They managed to get their car out before anyone woke up, as myself and neighbours were astonished to see the damage after the fact!

Looking at the tyre tracks down the bank, the car must have been travelling at a speed, as it did not succumb to the effects of gravity.

An acquaintance was running up the main road around that time and saw a guard speaking to someone in what looked like a silver hatchback. We found silver paint and small parts of a bumper near the impact site.

A case has also been opened at the Westville SAPS for malicious damage to property.
