AFTER my first blog post was published, I have been asked to post a more detailed video clip of the cart my cousin and I made out of scraps of wood and other items we had in my uncle’s shed.

April fool’s fun during lockdown
Wednesday, 1 April
1 April, better known as April Fools’ Day is one I love and this year was no exception, despite the lockdown.
So my cousin and I set out to fool anyone we could the whole day.
It took some planning, and I knew that I might get pranked but I didn’t care. We had spiders, paint, sunblock, syringes, popcorn seeds, a telephone, packets and fishing line. Here is how we put them to good use:
I like pranking people, but usually that can get me into trouble, so with the blanket amnesty afforded to all children on April Fools’ Day, I put all my energy into making the most of the day.
I tried putting a fake spider in toilet paper, which resulted in somes creams from the loo. Then I put black paint in the shower head so the next person that took a shower would have a nice coating of paint on them along with their shower water. I even put some blue paint into the tap to give my uncle a nice blue stain when he went to wash his hands.
This was as much fun as it might sound, so I can recommend you try these next year, but you will need to have a trustworthy assistant to help you. Otherwise you can always try the next prank which I am about to describe.

Popcorn prank
All you need is a helper, sunblock, a packet, scissors, popcorn seeds, a syringe and a fishing line.
First you need to cut a small hole in the packet in the corner on one side. Then put the popcorn seeds on the other side, tie some fishing line on the same side as the popcorn seeds and tie it up where it will not be seen; then when the moment is right, pull the string and the seeds should fall out of the hole you cut onto your victim.
Then, when your victim is distracted by the popcorn, you can hide somewhere with a syringe filled with sunblock to squirt on them. You don’t have to use sunblock, anything non-hazardous will do. Just be careful to avoid the eyes or any expensive clothing or even the April Fools’ Day amnesty might not save you from an angry victim.
