Stellar soccer season for Hillcrest High

HILLCREST High School has had a successful soccer season with the younger teams, in particular the U16A team, showing great promise for the future. The U16A boys’ team has had three wins and two draws against their opponents this term.

The boys’ 1st soccer team has also had a commendable season with, among other results, a win against Crawford North Coast and two draws, one against St. Benedicts and the other against Thomas More College.

This follows on the success of Hillcrest High School’s first girls’ soccer team which won the SA Sports Tours School Soccer tournament in East London during the holidays and lost only one game this term. Eleven of the soccer girls have been selected to play for the U14, U16 and U19 district teams.
