Team Wicked makes its mark

The Hillcrest Paintball team, Wicked, took home top titles at the recent National Paintball Super-Cup.

LOCAL paintball team, HPB Wicked were victorious after competing in the National Paintball Super-Cup held at the Gariep Dam recently.

The event saw more than 40 teams from all over South Africa participating in the intense final event of the year.

The team held onto its title from last year and took both 1st and 2nd place in the three-man D4 KZN and was placed 3rd and 4th overall in the D4 three-man nationals.

“With more than 20 players under our banner this year, it’s been a very successful season and growth in the sport, which wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors. I would like to thank MES, Hillcrest Paintball, Sixthcore and Point Blank,” said Jason Pachon, vice captain.

The team train every Sunday at the Hillcrest Paintball grounds and anyone is welcome to join.
