Swing away at Kloof CPF golf day

Help the Kloof CPF raise funds for its many various projects by joining in at its golf day fundraiser in September,

THE Kloof CPF, in conjunction with Accutts Cares, will host a charity golf day on Friday 19 September at the Kloof Country Club.

There will be a 4-ball alliance and the cost to join in on the fun is R400 per play. This includes competition fees, green fees, dinner and the prize giving.

Sponsors are also needed and the cost to sponsor a tee or green is R1000 and R1500 for the putting area. Donations that can be used as prizes are also welcome.

To date the CPF have undertaken the following projects:

* Installed cameras at entrances and exits of Kloof.

* Arranged for Transnet to provide armed guards along the railway line.

* Formed a patrol group with a 24-hour call line the number.

*Currently working with province to secure a new police station in Kloof.

Its next project is a trauma room at the Kloof police station. This will be a safe haven for those who have experienced a traumatic incident as well as setting up a trauma team that will assist residents that make use of the trauma room.

“All these projects require time and money, so all fundraising will go towards these initiatives and future projects that will benefit the Kloof community,” said Nikki Möhlmann, Ward 10 committee member for safety and security and member of the Kloof CPF.
