PBHS scores seven goals in a heated match
inetown continued probing, but Glenwood was equal to the task as they managed to contain the threat.

PINETOWN Boys’ High School and Glenwood Boys High School got the opportunity to lock horns yet again in soccer, scoring nine goals.
PBHS sport coordinator, Thokozani Zulu, said Glenwood players were athletically built and tall versus the PBHS short and skilful players.
“Right from the start of the game PBHS made its intentions clear, with their popular trio of ‘Nduduzo Kheswa, Mthokozisi Mthembu and Phila Dlamini taking full control of the game in the middle of the park.
Pinetown continued probing, but Glenwood was equal to the task as they managed to contain the threat. A quarter of the way into the game, PBHS got the opener after a well-taken corner kick by Sbusiso Khumalo, which was neatly headed into the net by Scelo Dlamini.
“This was to be the only goal scored in the half as Glenwood tightened up their defence and prevented Pinetown from being able to play with any rhythm,” said Zulu.
In the second half, Pinetown came back all guns blazing, scoring three early goals to make the score 4-0.
“The players relaxed, which led to Glenwood scoring their first goal minutes later. Pinetown made one sub, bringing on Sanele Khanyile and talking off Sihle Ramohlabi,” he said.
With this the game opened up even more, substitute, Sanele Khanyile, went on to score a hatrick of goals. Overall nine goals were scored in the game, with Pinetown scoring seven of them.
Pinetown will do well to keep focused on their next game versus Rossburgh before turning their attentions to the Kloof tournament, which is around the corner.
“It is no secret that the team is aiming to do well in this year’s tournament,” added Zulu.
