Lace up for Summer Nite Run
Help raise funds for the Winston Park Guardians by taking part in the first Summer NIte Run in Gillitts.
JOIN the Summer Nite Run/Walk on Friday, 26 February at 6.30pm to help raise funds for the Winston Park Guardians.
The event, hosted by Acutts and Ward Events, was created to raise funds to purchase essential items and help provide a better service to combat and prevent crime in the Winston Park area. The race will start and finish at the Gillitts Squash Club. There is a 5km and 10km route to take part in and all pre-entires are offered at a discounted rate. Pre-entries close on Thursday, 25 February.
Adults: 5km costs R60 and 10km costs R80.
U16 (prepaid and late entry fees): 5km costs R30 and 10km costs R40.
Schools with the most pre-entries could win R2 500 worth of A4 paper.
There will be water tables along both routes, live entertainment after the race, a children’s play area and food and drinks will be on sale.
For pre-entries, visit www.roag.co.za or visit Acutts Hillcrest (Lillies Quarter) or the GetFit Fitness Centre (Gillitts Centre) from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm or on Saturday from 8am to noon. Race day registration will take place at the Gillitts Squash Club from 4pm to 6pm.
