Harriers shown support at the Comrades

THIRTY-FIVE members of the Queensburgh Harriers ran the Comrades Marathon and successfully finished.

“The man to finish first was Sthokozo Shange in a brilliant time of 7 hours and 14 minutes and our first lady was Khanyi Duze who completed the event in 9 hours and 39 minutes. Another member to be mentioned is David Ndlovu who entered as a novice and achieved a silver medal finishing in 7 hours and 29 minutes – excellent achievement,” said an excited Robin Archer.

He said the Harriers running the marathon were inspired by the amazing support given to them from start to finish. “A few were unable to finish the distance but are already discussing an improvement next year,” he said.
