Tyra flexes her acrobatic skills

Forest View Primary School's SPAR Star of the Month - October 2018.

TYRA Zimmerman has been chosen as an exceptional learner at Forest View Primary School and is its SPAR Star of the Month.

Tyra is in Grade 5, epitomises an all-rounder and has the most beautiful manners.

In the classroom, Tyra is organised and consistently produces work of a very high standard. Her class teacher, Charlene Kerr, said, “She is one in a million, the most delightful, caring, confident yet humble learner.”

At Forest View, Tyra plays for the U11A netball, U11A hockey and U11A girls’ soccer teams and is also a member of the swimming squad.

She recently competed in the National Acrobats Competition in Johannesburg during the school holidays.

Tyra started dance classes three years old, loves competing and her love for being on stage is tangible.

She consistently performs to a very high standard and was placed second overall in her individual section this year and will be moved up to the intermediate section.

Tyra has received her IAASA colours for the third year in a row. She also completed the IAASA acrobatic exams for both bronze and silver categories and was awarded the highest mark, honours with distinction plus.
