CRICKET is always a popular pastime in the summer.
Queensburgh cricket fans are fortunate to be close to one of the locations where games are being played almost weekly.
According to Warren Gray, one of the organisers of Rebel Force T20 Blast, the fun league for all ages is hoping to continue to offer a boost to local cricket in the communities where its games are played.
“Rebel cricket is a T20 format with a twist, each game lasts two and a half hours with umpires and live scoring provided. Players also get individual stats to get bragging rights.”
“We are a fun run league for the whole family, young and old,” said Gray who hinted at exciting developments in the pipeline for 2019 including the introduction of a league for junior players which will run during the winter season.
