Birdlife Port Natal events for the month of September.
BIRDWATCHERS have a number of fun outings to look forward to this month.
On Saturday 7 September at 7am, there is an outing to Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve. Take along a picnic tea. Meet in the car park. Contact Lesley on 083 231 3408.
On Wednesday 11 September at 8.30am, there is an outing to Springside Nature Reserve in Hillcrest. Take along a picnic tea for afterwards, Meet inside the reserve. Contact Lesley on 083 231 3408.
At 7pm, there is an indoor meeting at the Westville Methodist Church. David Maphisa will talk on Birdlife SA’s work at Eskom Ingula Pumped Storage Scheme. David is a Ph.D student at UCT, and his talk promises to be both interesting and fascinating. Contact Lesley on 083 231 3408.
On Sunday 22 September at 7.15am, there is an outing to Harold Johnson Nature Reserve in Zululand. Take your own picnic and chairs. Contact Peter on 082 377 7454 for directions.
