Gardener Live field experts will help improve your garden

Let the professionals give you design ideas at the East Coast Radio House and Garden Show.

ARE your peppers not performing? Your carrots not co-operating and your garden missing mojo?

If so, then pop down to The Gardener Live at this year’s East Coast Radio House and Garden Show at the Durban Exhibition Centre from 26 June to 5 July and have all your troubling garden questions answered by experts in the field.

Take along A4 pictures of your garden to have a professional give you design ideas. Take a leaf, flower or twig of that plant in your garden you wish you know the name of; take your pest questions and see what the panel can do to help you get rid of them.

Tanya Visser, Gerald Schofield, Lindsay Gray or Anna Celliers will be available between noon and 4pm daily to answer all your gardening questions.

You can also look forward to the pop-up greenhouse filled with colourful exotic and local plants, and if you prefer things that flow rather than grow, a full outdoor furniture and landscape section will give you all the inspiration you need to find your perfect water fountain or conversation pit.

Show times are Monday to Thursday from 10am to 8pm, Friday to Saturday from 10am to 10pm, and on Sunday from 10am to 8pm. Entrance is R85 for adults, R60 for seniors (over 60) and children under 16 enter free but must be accompanied by an adult.

Multiple tickets cost R100 per adult, where you get unlimited access for the 10 days.

There’s also a mid-week senior special from Monday to Thursday from 10am to 11.30am and you will receive a cup coffee or tea and a muffin or Danish free.
