Local company supports CHOC

Blue was the colour of the day as pupils supported International Childhood Cancer Day.

MONDAY, 15 February was International Childhood Cancer Day, an annual day to support the courageous children who are suffering with cancer and their families.

Vehicle Ink Projects, a company in Pinetown, approached CHOC KZN’s regional manager, Agie Govender, as they wanted to help motivate awareness.

To do this, they sign-wrapped their 1954 Ford panel van and visited local schools to promote CHOC.

Vehicle Ink Projects, supported by Mrs Vashti Scrooby, principal of Cowies Hill Pre-Primary School, as well as the teachers and children, decorated their school on Monday in blue hearts, dressed in blue and white and each brought a donation for CHOC.

Vehicle Ink Projects thanked Agie Govender and Mrs Scrooby for being a part of initiative.
