VIVALDI’S The Four Seasons is the featured work in Baroque 2000’s concert on Sunday, May 6 at 3pm at the Church of the Monastery, Mariannhill.

The orchestra’s artistic director, Ralitza Macheva, will be the soloist in these four amazing concertos.

Distinguished South African flautist, Bridget Rennie-Salonen, based in Cape Town, will play Giovanni Platti’s Flute sonata in G Major op 3 no 6.

The programme will begin with Giuseppe Torelli’s Sonata in D Major for strings and trumpet G 10 in which the soloist will be Michel Schneuwly.

Buy tickets, R150 each, at the door. There is safe parking.

The Monastery tea garden will be open.
