Jack is a problem-solver
Jack Binder is Deutsche Schule Durban SPAR Star of the Month.
THE Deutsche Schule Durban is proud of Jack Binder who has been taking part in the monthly ABC Maths and Science competition online and has won first prize in their Maths category (Grade 7 to 9) for two months running now.
“This is even more impressive given that he is only in Grade 7,” said school marketer, Hannah Mangenda.
“Jack is a diligent and humble student, he did not even share the news of his second win. It was his Maths teacher, Liska Küsel, who was surprised and delighted to find his name in the winners’ list.
Küsel gives credit to Jack for solving what she termed ‘quite challenging problems’.
The ABC Maths and Science competition is a voluntary competition, free of charge and open to all learners in South Africa.
