Mataeo is Highway’s shining star

MATAEO Moonsamy (8) is Highway College’s bright SPAR Star of the Month.

Mataeo loves working with his hands and is very creative. He has a keen interest in origami and makes all kinds of objects with his dad when they spend quality time together at home.

The school’s marketing manager, Ruth Browne said each time Mataeo brings his origami master pieces to school it is not just to show the rest of the class what he has made, but also to share his growing knowledge of this interesting art form.

“He is a great little origami teacher to his Grade 2 peers. Well done father and son, this time spent together is invaluable, this is what bright futures are made of at Highway College,” said Browne.
