PREPARE to jump into the life of a closeted teen as he navigates high school, his first kiss and everything in-between in the up-beat teenage drama that is Date Me, Bryson Keller.
After agreeing to a dare that will see the popular Bryson Keller date a new person each week, the awkward and closeted Kai Sheridan adds a bit of his excitement to his life when he goes out on a limb and asks his peer out.
It wasn’t stipulated in the rules that a boy couldn’t ask him out and Bryson, much to Kai’s surprise, agrees. From morning breakfasts to afternoon walks, the duo grow closer and form a strong, undeniable bond.

Kai knows nothing good could possibly come from falling for a straight boy, but his heart wants to hear none of it.
If you loved Simon Vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda, What If It’s Us, or basically any young adult romance novel on the shelves, then you will absolutely adore this.
While my initial thoughts were that it felt all too similar to other YA novels on the market, the South African author went pulled a proverbial rabbit out of a hat with the way he wrote the ending. It is truly beautiful and will definitely tug on your heart strings.
If you are in the market for a light-hearted read and would like to add some diversity to your to-be-read pile, Date Me, Bryson Keller will be a wonderful addition.
