Former primary school principal (69) dies

Current principal Lizette Louw said he would be remembered as a God-fearing man

A former principal of Kempton Park Primary School, Ian Lindsay (69), has died on Monday after suffering an aneurysm.

Lindsay retired in 2014 after joining the school in 1997 as acting principal.

Current principal Lizette Louw said he would be remembered as a God-fearing man.

“He always made time for a pep talk and a joke. He left behind a legacy of family. The staff at Kempton Park Primary School will miss him terribly. May the force (worce) be with you, Sir!” she said.

Lindsay leaves behind his wife Melanie, son Gareth and daughter-in-law Monique.
