Krugersdorp police target crime through Operation Shanela Two

Roadblocks and stop-and-search operations are underway in Krugersdorp as local officers launch a fresh drive to boost community safety.

Krugersdorp police have launched Operation Shanela Two as part of ongoing efforts to combat crime across the area.

The initiative began today, August 27, with the aim of creating a safer environment for community members.

According to Krugersdorp police acting station commander Colonel Jacques van den Berg, the operation aims to improve visible policing and prevent crime.

He added that the operation includes roadblocks and stop-and-searches.

“We hope to achieve many successes and improve the safety of community members,” Van den Berg said.
