Silverstar presents the Bavarian Christmas in July Festival
The event promises food and drink offerings that will be simply irresistible, ranging from the traditional eisbein, roast chicken, sausages, bratwurst and a wide selection of cheeses to choose from.
Every year at Christmas time families come together and decorate Christmas trees and their homes, they exchange gifts and enjoy good food. The festivities are soon over and the 12-month waiting period begins all over again.
However, this year will be different because Christmas will be come around twice as Silverstar Casino brings you a brand-new winter treat this July – the Bavarian Christmas in July Festival, another Lekker Life Fees experience.
The festival will be filled with the magic of Christmas and styled as a typical Bavarian village during the Festive Season with hundreds of magical lights, impromptu street performances and loads of entertainment for the whole family.
“Visitors can expect to be entertained in true Bavarian tradition with an Oompah band in the main pavilion, roving buskers, entertainers in the ‘streets’, a mini amusement park with rides for the children, a fairy land of Christmas lights and Santa Clause appearances,” says Shane Collinson, Director of Operations and Complex General Manager at Silverstar.

Beer lovers can look forward to a wide variety of local and imported beers and ciders. Popular winter warmers such as glühwein and hot chocolate also will chase away the cold.
“Another feature that visitors can look forward to is the Village Market. Here a variety of quaint stalls will be found selling goods ranging from warm winter gear to sheepskin slippers and blankets, hand-knitted socks and a variety of winter fashion items,” adds Collinson.
The Bavarian Christmas in July Festival is brought to Silverstar by The Imagineering Corporation who are the creators of the popular Lekker Life experience and promises to be a true celebration this July.
