Mogale City Call Centre down: Residents urged to use alternative channels

Residents can still access municipal assistance while technicians work to restore the affected call centre line.

Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) is urging residents to be aware that its call centre is currently experiencing technical difficulties with inbound calls.

In a statement released by Refilwe Mahlangu, MCLM assistant manager for Media and PR, on August 20, the municipality said technicians are working to resolve the issue affecting the call centre’s 0861 664 253 line.

In the meantime, residents are encouraged to direct queries, balance enquiries and statement requests via the municipality’s WhatsApp line on 083 787 2814 or email customerservices@mogalecity.gov.za.

The municipality said these alternative channels will remain available until the call centre has been fully restored.

MCLM apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked residents for their patience and understanding.
