Three house robbers busted

After returning from the shopping mall, a Kagiso resident noticed her house had been broken into with several valuables missing.

Three suspects aged between 25 and 31 were taken into police custody for housebreaking on 3 July at 11am.

Sector police arrested the three house robbers in central Kagiso for stealing several valuables from the house in the Batswana section.

It is alleged that on 2 July the complainant left her house all in order to go to the shopping mall.

“She claims that at the time she left, everything was in order, with doors and windows locked,” says Kagiso SAPS spokesperson, Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya.

On arrival at home at 5.30pm the complainant noticed that her garage door has been opened. The complainant also found that the lock for the garage was missing.

“She proceeded into the house to check for further irregularities when she noticed that her table cloth, Samsung flat screen TV, two digital cameras, computer, two laptops, three black jackets and AMC cookware were missing”.

The complainant reported the matter to the Kagiso SAPS and the suspects were tracked down and apprehended.

A case docket of housebreaking and theft was opened against the suspects at the Kagiso Police Station.
