Christmas fun at festival
Children and adults were enthralled by the magic tricks that were performed by Jumbo the Clown and the various rides that were available such as the Crazy Wave.
The Bavarian Christmas in July Festival that was held at Silverstar Casino from 5 to 7 July saw more than 8 000 people attending the three-day event.
The Festival was filled with the magic of Christmas, but styled in a typical Bavarian village that had hundreds of magical Christmas lights, impromptu street performances and tons of entertainment for the whole family.

Visitors were able to buy various goods from the different stalls and even had the chance to try the irresistible food and drink offerings ranging from the traditional eisbein, roast chicken, sausages and bratwurst.
Beer lovers were able to taste a variety of local and imported beers and ciders and those who were interested in chasing the cold away, winter warmers such as glühwein and hot chocolate were served.

Blaine Smith and Tyrell Summerford from Noordheuwel who tried some of the beers said that they will be back next year.
Nadine Arendse from Atmosphere Communications says based on the positive response from this year’s event, Silverstar Casino hopes to host the festival again next year.
