Fruity Christmas cakes on sale
The Krugersdorp Lions Club will be selling delicious Christmas fruit cakes to aid their fund-raising efforts.
It is that time of the year when everyone gets excited about the Festive Season and to ensure a memorable day for everyone, your help is of vital importance.
The Krugersdorp Lions Club will be selling their delicious 1kg Christmas fruit cakes to aid their fund-raising efforts.
These cakes, expertly made by Albany Bakery, can make an excellent fruity base for your own Christmas cake or can be enjoyed on their own.
The cakes are known to have an excellent shelf life and if not made up as a Christmas cake they can be enjoyed with afternoon tea or as a daytime snack.
Lions Clubs have been selling these cakes since 1975 to raise funds for their much-needed community projects which include sight projects such as cataract surgery and low cost spectacles for indigents, diabetes awareness, educational youth camps, feeding schemes, Lions help to hear for the indigent hearing impaired, assistance to senior citizens and children, and the physically and mentally challenged.
Three cash prizes ranging from R10 000 to R1 000 could be won when cakes are purchased.
