Photoshoot winners announced
This photoshoot was held to generate funds for a non-profit that provides help to abused and abandoned children, as well as destitute elderly people.
The winner of a family photo competition has been announced.
Neill Griffin and his children Keagan (7) and Eben (9) walked away as winners of Studio 6’s photoshoot for charity that was held at the Pick n Pay Centre in Noordheuwel.
The purpose of the photo competition was to generate funds for Kiddies Paradise, a registered non-profit organisation providing help to abused and abandoned children as well as destitute elderly people.
Casper Jooste, owner of Studio 6 says he feels slightly disappointed by the low number of entries.
“Only ten families supported us, but we still feel that it was worth it as we did a lot of marketing for Kiddies Paradise.”
Alma Barnard, founder of the organisation says that she is undertaking a number of projects for Christmas and needs the help of the community to make it successful.
“We already have started organising Christmas parties for the children and the elderly.”
Those who wish to make donations to help the less fortunate people in the community can contact Alma on 072 088 0429.
