What readers like about their ‘new’ community paper

The Krugerdorp News journalists went to find out what their readers think about the newspaper's new look.

The news team was wondering whether its readers noticed something different in the appearance of this week’s edition of their local community newspaper.

Journalists Jacobus Myburgh and Amoryn Golden recently ventured to the Anthos Centre (Monument Checkers) to find out what readers loved and loathed about their ‘new’ weekly news fix.

Now we ask you: Do you like the new look? What would you like to read about? Here is your opportunity, our avid readers, to tell us what you would like to see in your weekly community newspaper.

To our valued Afrikaans readers, although it was decided to drop NUUS from our masthead, we have not forgotten you. The news community remains predominantly Afrikaans and the team will continue to report in both Afrikaans and English.

Please give us your views by leaving a comment below, by sending us an email at krugersdorpnews@caxton.co.za or by giving us a call on 011 955 1130.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
