A motorist travelling on Barrett Street towards Voortrekker Road took to social media to share photos of another accident at the busy Krugersdorp/ Roodepoort junction.
@donovanrsa posted two photos showing a truck and a crumpled car with the caption, “Another truck accident. Voortrekker Road. Car squashed” on Tuesday afternoon 14 October.
The news tracked down the logistics company to which the truck belongs and spoke to managing director Charl Keen.
Keen who spoke on behalf of the driver involved says no one was injured in the accident.
He says a meeting has been set up with a driver in order for the company to get his version of events as well as other relevant information and statements.
Management then will act accordingly.
In the past many a number of accidents and close calls have been reported at the junction, allegedly cased by negligent driving.
