Plastic giant’s spectacular giveaway

Wessel Greyvenstein from Krugersdorp was the lucky winner of the car while Andrea Prigge drew the Mauritius prize and Leonie van der Heever the Sun City prize.

West Pack rolled out the red carpet for their 21 competition finalists at Oakfield Farm.

There were more than 400 000 entries in the competition across seven West Pack branches, including Blairgowrie, Randburg, Alberton, Kolonnade, Benoni, Boksburg and Krugersdorp.

The winners stood a chance to win one of three amazing prizes – a holiday at Sun City, a trip to Mauritius and the grand prize of a Toyota Etios worth R140 000.

Master of ceremonies, comedian and 94.7 Breakfast Express show host Darren Wackhead Simpson called the finalist from each branch to the stage.

The finalists drew a number and were asked to choose a box. The boxes either contained a bottle of Amarula and casino coins (Sun City prize), sunglasses and an air ticket (Mauritius prize) or a key ring and a road map (car winner).

Nervously, each finalist opened their box and they were excited to see what they had won.

West Pack’s generosity went even further by donating R50 000 to the 94.7 Breakfast Express Christmas Wish Foundation.

West Pack is run not only by a tight-knit family driven by success, they also care about their staff and customers as if they are family.
