Purr-fect love: please be my Valentine?
Find purr-fect love this Valentine's Day by adopting a furry friend.
Year after year there are heartbroken singles as the day of love – Valentine’s Day – approaches.
The news recently paid a visit to the Friends of Rescued Animals (Fora) shelter, looking for love of a different kind.
After the December holidays the shelter reached its capacity and they recently had to show away animals because they are unable to accommodate them.
Staggering numbers of furry four-legged friends are in need of good, loving homes.
Should you find yourself in the singles corner this year, perhaps you should invest in a stable relationship by adopting such a friend.
With over 55 kittens and 70 cats to choose from, Valentine’s Day can be special this year. Adopt a cat or kitten from Fora for only R600, which includes all up-to-date vaccinations, deworming and sterilisation.
What’s more, the cats are tested for feline leukaemia and Aids.
“They will love the imperfect you, purr-fectly,” said Linda Scrace from Fora.
