Well-known businessman dies

Dieter Gross, a well-known businessman from Krugersdorp, passed away last Friday 13 February.

The 69-year-old was the owner of Industrial Pressing, the Chamdor-based metal pressing company with over 40 years’ experience in the manufacturing of ferrous and non-ferrous products.

South Africa’s well-known red postboxes have been manufactured through his company, which employs over 100 people.

A funeral service will be held for Gross tomorrow 20 February at the NG Kerk Krugersdorp-Oos at noon.

He leaves behind his five children Caroline, Margaret, Ella, Sylvia and Rudi, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as two sisters.
