[VIDEO+PHOTOS] Bread truck’s trailer overturns
Being a bit too cautious might have been the reason why this truck's trailer overturned.
Traffic in this industrial part of town came to a standstill after a truck had taken a sharp turn for the worse, causing its trailer to overturn.
It is believed the truck transporting bread turned into Mclean Street from Adcock Street in Chamdor when the trailer flipped over onto its right side.
Motorists and pedestrians were curious to get a glimpse of the overturned trailer and its content.
An anonymous bystander believes the truck may have taken the turn into Mclean Street too wide causing its trailer to hit the pavement and overturn.
Mogale City’s Traffic Department blocked off the road and assisted at the scene.
Other trucks from the bakery arrived shortly afterwards to pick up the loaves of bread transported in the overturned trailer.
A private tow truck was called to the scene to assist in lifting the truck and its trailer back on its wheels.
Representatives from SUNBAKE who was at the scene refused to give comment about the incident that took place at around 10am.
Fortunately no one was injured during the incident and traffic was back to normal in no time.
